Hi guys so what is better a pole spring or no pole spring I am running a spring at the moment but because I have quite a short pole and if your hands come off the bars it goes all the way up any ideas I have a kp pole and running breather tubes
Yep got one of those it helps a bit but I mainly ride flat water and if you shorten the rope a bit it limits you a spring with less tension would be the awnser
I think some guys run no spring but use a pole bolt spacer and just run a tight pole bolt https://www.blowsion.com/rrp-pole-spacer
When I was in ozzy I saw a rickter ninja with 2 separate bolts and no spring but man did it have a wicked creeking sound going on MR KP do you make anything ?
the spring/no spring is person preference really, if you do run no spring & tight pole , either run a long bolt with spacer tube, or 2 pinch bolts either side. If you do run a spring then it is just a matter of getting the spring tension right. There will be a new KP bracket available very soon that has an adjustable spring perch built in, so you can adjust the tension on your spring.
Hey Mr KP do you do a chin pad for one of your poles I have a ninja pad and it doesn't quite fit with out cutting it
just an ally shell that you need to cover with turf etc. 2 styles (http://www.kp-parts.com/parts/chinpad-shell) i really need to add some more photos to show them finished and fitted.
Tayne runs no spring on his rickter and keeps pole tight so it stays where it is when he lets go of it
Well I made a pole bolt spacer cranked up the bolt and it is shit makes the ski way harder to ride so who and where do you get a weak spring from ???
It's a std pole bracket on a xfs rickter with a kp pole and running breather tubes it won't let me up load a pic
