dam skis take on alot of water fast with a scupper valve. like yesterday i got caught off guard and rolled over a few times by a decent wave which is pretty common in surf riding but my ski came up half full of water. never had that happen with my previous ski which didnt have one and could sit upside down for half an hour without sinking. I can see the benifits for competition where you need to do tricks one after the other but for free riding i think i just prefer to wait for the bilge pump to finish.

guna plug that shit up for now!

its not really that it leaks water in......its that when the ski is upside down it lets all the air out of the engine bay where the air pocket is...
  7. Hey there, i fitted a Blowsion scupper a few months back , but before fitting - poured water into the end of it to see if it would hold water - i expected a few drops - but it just poured out the other end, i unscrewed the X4 scews and noticed that they (some dude in the assembly plant) may of over tightened the dam screws (i think) cause the 4 ends were curved up and not a flat surface for the rubber flap thing to sit on, i just found a flat fine file and filed in a chris cross pattern, reassembled & made a 99% difference, check it out before fitting. My ski has sat floating for half an hour and only a few drops in it 8) worked for me - Cheers
