Drowned my ski at FOF got it running later that day to flush it out.
And have since had it sitting on my bench waiting for other parts to fix the rest of my ski.

Went to turn over by hand and couldnt move, took the head off sprayed crc and eventually got it turning over by hand, took the cylinders off and looked at the crank, its obviously had water and is a bit rough turning over.

What do i need to do to fix the ski?
Can you just put new bearings on the crank?

if your pistons are in good nick and the rust on the cylinder was only light, you might get away with a light hone to clean up the cylinder.

for the crank...if the rust was isolated to the main bearing on the front or rear, they can be pulled off and replaced....but if your looking at doing all the bearings its often cheaper just to get a new crank.

The whole crank is pretty rusted so just going for a replacement.

Where is a good place for a crankshaft?
