Hey all, For those of you that know the ol retro square nose from Tauranga this might be easier to answer, but in short: 650 single carb (standard carb) with big red mother pipe. Issue: fowling plugs every few weeks as is running way too rich and thus a big laggy on the pick-up. It has a standard exhaust water bypass on it and so I was thinking of swapping it for a blowsion 45 deg one (with the bigger bore) to make the pipe run dryer. Question: given that its pretty rich atm do you think it would be safe to change the pisser without changing the carb setup and just let the dryer pipe lean in out? If so - does anyone have a blowsion 45deg pisser they want to get rid of?
What are your mixture screws at?...If you don't know what they are maybe PM Tbear and pop round to see him and get it adjusted rite...We had that think humming down here so as long as no one has changed anything it should just a simple tune job...Worst case it may need a new needle and seat but pretty sure we did that just before it got sold
