Does anyone have an easy ways to get rid of the glue that is used to stick the stock SJ turf to the tray..... I am about to pull up my turf to get my ski ready for footholds :) and i am not to keen on spending a day or two scrapping glue off the tray with a scrapper and using some de-solve it. Ive read on x-h2o 3m make some kind of wheel that goes in a drill that can be used to get decals / glue off....... Anyone ever used one or know where they are sold?
    Cheers Mat

Finally gettin rid of that horrible mat. I reckon ply wood with moss and slime on it would be an upgrade to what you got now.

just use two way thinner on a rag an get the glue nice and stickey then scrape it off with a sharp chisel or razor blade. use heaps of thinner and make sure the glue goes well tacky before you scrape it. jus dont leave a puddle of the thinner in your tray and walk away! the glue removal should take under an hour.
  5. i used an angle grinder with a wire brush bit on the end..sounds dodgy but it worked a treat was done in about 10minutes, fare bit of crap flys rnd the workshop tho!!

They sell this real good orange shit at Bunnings. Just spray on and it almost wipes off. I cannot remember what it's called, but it's in a little spray bottle and its very strong smelling of orange.
    Great for sticker removal.

Well i just started to get some of the glue off and desolve-it works wonders with a scrapper. It gets the glue nice and tacky then you just scrap it off :) Its one very tedious job though.......
