Failed barrel roll leg carnage

So tried my first barrel roll today and came out slightly worse.

I came out of the footholds upside down. I think i caught my leg on the steering nut on the way down... 5 stitches and 7 days of doing nothing, Fukn brilliant when im out lake rotoiti for another 10 days

That sucks. Wrap it up in duct tape to hold it together + keep the water out then keep on riding.

yeah im tempted, but there is some funky shit in this lake, i dont want to get this infected. On the plus side i had the height to get round....

Lake Rotoma is alot cleaner. I was there over new years.

Haha i've got the same scar to, news years eve a few years back. Wait for the infection. Kinda creepy when you can see your shin bone. I've worn soccer style shin gaurds slid up my leg at times, might wear them a little more now

nice , yep got the same scare as that will leave except mines just a wee bit higher. i had 13 stiches in mine
