I have been looking at a 701c engine and unit set up in christchurch that has been advertised a few times on trademe. It has ported cylinders, new pistons planed head, twin 44mm carbs etc. The trademe username is w.o.p.p. Two guys appear to share the account (cute!?) Adrian Louttit and David Stewart. They have at times listed various Ski's and parts. I left a message on trademe asking for a number to call and got a cell phone number with an answer phone linked to Simon Louttit, but no answer. Googled Adrian Loutit and got a cell phone number called him and he says he shares the trademe account but has nothing to do with jet skis and takes my number and says the other guy David will contact me when he gets back from overseas?

I was warned that there was a questionable character on trade me a while back with the classy username of titty1 and that w.o.p.p could be the resurrection of this guy. Does anyone know anything about these guys good or not so good?

I am genuinely not trying to stir any shit or wind anybody up but am genuinely interested in a 701 and 144mm or 155mm yamaha set up in good order.

I have had no dealings with them but have heard a few stories about that particular user selling inferior parts

Think there was a Ttty1 is a wanker thread on here a few years back

I have got a few things off him over the years and everything is either super fucked and worn out or he is in deed the complete wanker and sends the wrong thing.

I would in no way buy a complete motor off this guy

Be very careful who you deal with, post up on here before you buy anything from anyone.

Why do you want a 155 pump behind a 701?? every one said I was stupid when I built mine
(water test coming soon by the way fella's, if successful another one will be built for my frankenjet squarenose thing)

Because its going in a boat like this http://scrat27.tumblr.com/ scroll down this link The boat runs a 155mm behind a 61x and with the right impellor it goes good, eats gravel and doesn't cavitate in whitewater quite as bad as a 144, although a 144 is a very capable unit. Here's another boat running a 62T plus 144mm unit
