Watup forum users, thought id chuck up a thread on the build of my new ski for your viewing pleasure. Its an early 90s 650sx, picked it up off trademe for a reasonable price as last owner "couldnt get it to run", amazing what a difference 2 spark plugs will make ae :lol: At the moment im mucking round with the motor as the previous owners service shedual of "nothing much" hasnt really cut the mustard. So new exhaust system being sussed now, then clean the carb and ditch the oil metering pump. Then sort new throttle and steering cables and motor should be pretty much rockin. Me n the missus decided on a paint scheme aswell, wanted something unique and i reckon we hit it spot on so pics will be up as soon as some progress is made!!
Picked up a whole bunch of parts today from Tofa so time to get cranking on the build!! started making a beach trolley too seeing I got my ute bellied out on the boat ramp last time i launched the ski at the river :lol:
