After contemplating getting a Blaster freighted from Auckland down to the mighty Greymouth, I managed to find one in the South Island in the BuySell. Completely standard except having oil squirters removed, different air intake on the carb, and a reglassed bottom. Has only had 2 previous owners, the last one having owned it for the past 8 years! Will keep it stock this summer, with some cosmetic mods/bolt on power mods in mind next winter. Anyone with a modded blaster, what worked and didn't work for you for getting reliable power?
Dang that looks mint! just put a factory b-pipe on it, an msd and an intake grate and prop, it will be 10 times better to ride and you will never have to pull it apart.
Cheers for the input guys, gives me some direction! I've been doing some reading on PWCToday, most people are saying just use some motorcross bars and cut them down slightly rather than going down the likes of UMI?
UMI Bars are around the same price as Motorcross bars anyway so its a much of a muchness really? I guess it depends what you like the feel of best? I had motorcross bars on my GPR when I had it and they worked fine for me but some people didnt like the feel. What ever you buy make sure its good quality, especially if you are planning on getting some air! I snapped the bars twice on my GPR just from coming down hard off big air.
Unfortunately not in a past life, still the current one You're not the same Blitza who was waiting 14.6 years for a certain ECU are ya?
Mad Max didint wear purple..... NICE to see Tinky Winky with some stickers on it before it became the gay teletubby!
14.7, and sadly the small black car still lives. '93 sn, 701, factory b, dual 44's and some hull mods that make it ride a little tricky. (+ GR81 took the pic)
