Whats a 701 motor worth?

Anyone got a rough idea of what the going rate for a complete and running 701 twin carb motor would be? comes with all electrics etc.

how many hours has it done, whats it's compression?

you dont exactly see these come up very often in NZ to determin a 'going rate'......but i would guess you would be looking 1500-2000 minimum for an average cond one ...... just a guess tho

Sweet thats good enough for me Knoxie. Tim total hours are unknown but has done roughly 4 hours in the last 4 years (has been turned over and fired up regularly and had oil in to prevent rings sticking ect)
