So turns out the oil the previous owner was putting in is Motul ester 2T 700... at $150 for 4 litres i think not... any other recommendations? I know this would have been brought up before but is it really that much of an issue? ofcourse i care about longetivity and maintaining + reliability but that seems a bit ridiculous...

I use valvoline in our skis, never had any problems with it.
Can normally get it for $30 for 4L when on special.
I know there's a bunch of people here that use it too.

Use anything TCW3 so if you run out you can mix oils.

    X3 on Valvoline

I use motul PowerJet 2T as I know its good but ive used lots of diffrent kinds over the years and mixed them all. Get a TC W3 marine oil tho.

I smelt some one running a castor based oil at FOF and it smelt fucking amazing! I dout that was a marine oil tho haha

Yeah smells amazing when it burns and smells like candy out of the bottle, have researched it and seems to be a high end bike racing oil but for lower revving bikes so will stick with it for now as it's something else and not tc w3 so will wait to change oil until rebuild and everything's out, cheers for the help!

You know it! Cheaper and better! (the beer, not the oil)
