    Hey everyone,

I have a 701cc Yamaha wave blaster 1 jetski & today i was real guttered after i got to sea to find the output shaft seals (end of engine) let go & popped the internal springs out of them too which i found on the bottom of the hull. I am in desperate need of new seals, ..... (there appears to be 2 of them sitting loosely on the output shaft) Can anyone help me? Am hoping to get some before new years, or just ASAP! txt or ring me 0272377232 or leave me a message with your details so i can arrange payment for a new seal.

It also appears to be down on compression, 100 in each cylinder at Wide open throttle. I know it was recently around 140 in each .... guessing due to the seal letting go? Performance in water = very poor!!

Hi, Not good news coming into summer. The seals have popped for a reason. Normaly this means an over presurised crank case. You may have stuffed rings. I dont have any seals but when you get them they look very similar but they are not. You must put them in the correct way.

    Good luck.

    Hey,

Yea defo not the best news for this close to end of year and camping trips etc either! spent today (xmas) ripping it down from the bottom end. The old seals are out now from both ends of crank. Apparently is had only recently had engine work done to it, (new rings) etc and when i did a test just prior to purchase (only 2 times on the water now since then) it had 140psi in each cylinder. I got hold of Roger today in Auckland who was very helpful on the phone and have new seals on the way!! Happy as. Merry xmas :)
