Wanted - A charge coil for a 760 motor (One of Waxheads). I've found one from a 701 but they are slightly smaller. Mine is 66mm hole spacing (58 on 701)
Ive got the whole loom atached to the three coils if you reeeealy want it. You can have it for what I payed for but it wasnt cheep. Its unopened
are you sure you want a 760 one the engines i was selling had the 62t flywheels and stators in them The single carb 701 and 650 have the smaller flywheel stator the later 701,s have the bigger flywheel The yamaha 760 engine has a reverse flywheel and the coils are in the stator i think you will be after the 62t stator coil if you are using the stator with the engine i sold you
Cheers for your help and offers guys, i've sorted a coil locally thanks, a 62T as Waxhead said. My next question is about wiring. The old one simply had a brown/white wire one end and an earth on the other end. The new one has 2 terminals either side of centre. Does mixing these up cause problems? i.e change polarity etc. Any help would be great
