Theres 2-4m swells rolling into the west coast this weekend. Its gonna be a crazy ride if any of you guys head out, I think ill stay home and study for my exams this weekend

Just jam the ski in the van. Im keen for a ski on the west coast this weekend. Was at the port on Monday. It was a bit like a washing machine but ok. A old friend of mine on a 08 SJ went with me and had a blast. Good to see you out there Dave.

Looking at the surf forecast it looks like we might have to postpone.. 30-40 knot winds SW (onshore-ish).. 5-6m wave face... Still a 15 second period for anyone who is keen to get 6m plus of air!
No, don't think anyone rode surf. May as well hijack this non-eventual thread.. Long range forecast is looking good for Raglan or Port this weekend, with 10 knot or less winds from the North... 4-6ft face rolling in with a 15 second period.. I'll be up in Auckland I think, but should be good Sunday (or Saturday with a little notice).
Looks like the wind is going to start picking up again from Fri evening all the way until midnight monday... I'm peaking, damn I was looking forward to it. Hopefully they might update with better outlook tomorrow.
