Surf ride this sunday. It would be good to have the masses that turn up to River rides, Harbour rides, Wake jumping and tuakau to come along and give surf riding a try aswell. The forecast for port waikato is looking friendly at this stage for sunday with 1m swell and gental offshore winds. The aim is to get more people out in the waves so grab a mate and come along! Id love to come out but am up north so will most probly be at Mangaiwai. If its just me up there ill flag it and try and make it down. What time will you be there?
Well Port Waikato is looking flipin Awesome for sunday with 1 metre waves and gentle offshore winds bringing a small .2m of chop. should be Mint hopefully the weather plays its part however we will be riding regardless. Meet Sunday at the BP Autobahn Drury by 9:30am or between 10 to 10:30 at the port wharf. see you there!

What a great day. Premo surf and sun. White socks was going nuts, Great air and roles. Washed my ski out at Tuakau and it was sad to see a bunch of pole skies been used in the flat water. Will be sore tomorrow. Sweet
Wow - weather & the surf was primo. Last head count was 11 with an assortment of ski's. The boys were doing their thing out the back on their flying machines, Good one Captain for organizing it & cheers to Dax for the lift. All & all a great day.
Yeah awsome day, great to get out in the surf again. Saw some crazy stuff out there today. So where are we riding next week...?
Thanks to those who came along. I dont believe I have ever ridden in surf as clean as the morning ride. It almost made it hard to judge the height and speed of the swell due to the fact the water was perfectly smooth and you could see right through the waves! I am a bit sore today. Norman was doing some sweet rolls which I managed to get some good footage of and should be on Utube around wednesday! Heaps of other good footage was taken and most riders will make the video so keep an eye out for yourself! Cant wait for next time!
