  1. hey all! great forum you got here!
one of your members turned me on to the site, and it rocks!
live in south florida, someday hope to make out there to do some surf ridin or at least attend some awesome events you all have there.

my current ride is a wb1 with the ass chopped off, 780cc, factory pipe, and a host of other goodies. shes a fun surf ski and has treated me well for years.

im currently building another blaster and putting in a 1200 non powervalve motor for some extra snap!

Hi, got any pics of your cut off WB1 for us?
I've drpped an 1100 into a WBII (originally 760cc) and it really hauls arse, it's both quick and powerful.
... I've got a spare 1100 motor and am lookin for a project... maybe it's a WB1 cutdown... what's been the differences with the rear cut down?
  3. hey redtro,
i cut off the rear bondline because i split it open in the surf and i didnt want to trry to repair it only to have it happen again. the only real advantage is that its easier to side mount it because i can get my leg over the side a little easier. it also feels a little more loose in the back as well.

iwould love to see some pics of that b2 with the 1100. do you have a build thread on here?

i just finished a 1200 in a blaster 1 about a month ago. the customer is very happy with the end result and it has got to be one of the most fun skis ive ever ridden. the acceleration is beyond compare smokes everything from 0 to 58!

i made some conversion plates to make the install simple. shortened motor mounts and powdercoated aluminum plates bolt in place and the motor just bolts in perfectly with stock running gear.

here are some pics. the top ones are my ski when i cut it up. the orange one is the blaster 1200 i just did.

cheers. I do have some pics , I'll try and get them all to gether and up on site. I cut the mounts cradle and moved the actual mounts to fit mine.
Are yoU running a single exhaust outlet ? does it run the 1200 waterbox and larger pipes. ( I glassed in the double outlet from a raider 1100 on mine)

those adapter mounts sound interesting, you made them or purchased them ?
  6. i made them. i had such a big responce, i decided to sell them. the hardest part of the conversion is de-foaming the back of the ski for the rear mount waterbox.

the mounting holes are slotted for some adjustment so ther is no need for shims.
i sell them for 220.00 usd. comes with the mounts, but at this time i need the old blaster mounts as a core. if you dont have a core, add 40.00.

im running a single exhaust out the right side of the ski. its a 3" diameter for good exhaust flow. i used a raider 1100 waterbox, mounted it right behind the stock exhaust. you will have to cut a hole in the bulk head for the larger 1200 exhaust.

i also sell the outlets for the larger exhaust. 3" diameter, billet aluminum, and clear anodized/ they are 85.00 each
