Hey all - just been directed to your cool site by one of the members. We have a little shop in Takanini and spend all day fixing ski's. We saw a bunch of pole ski's meeting at the Autobahn at Papakura one Sunday and thought it was wicked. We are keen to come and check out one of the rides so we can take photos for our website too. Good to see heaps of people enjoying the sport! :p

I have heard good things about your rebuilds, I work at United Water in Papakura have been in a few times for advice but when I tried to buy you sent me to South Auckland / Franklin Marine as they stock Yamaha!

    Hey Rumble

We set up Ski M.D. to offer a good service to customers in the South Auck area, sometimes in an effort to keep skiing affordable it is better to point customers to the place they can get parts direct rather than just paying us some tax for getting it for you. I hope we see you again.
Cathie...our gun sales chick is going to work a way to give members of this forum a discount on purchases from our shop so watch this space!

Kevin is good for Seadoo work but roger is your best bet for Yamaha work and parts.

    Hahaha not quite.
  9. I urgently needed a battery this morning. Called up ski m.d and he said he could have one charged and ready to go at 10am. Problem solved....not quite. Stopped in on the way to port waikato to pick it up and he hadn't bothered to do it (or bothered to tell me). Had just driven to Takanini from the North Shore. Had I known he didn't have one ready I could have organised one from elsewhere. Ruined my whole day. Will not be dealing with this wanker again if I can help it! :x

Repco and Super Cheap are the best places to get ski batteries Iv found. They more often than not have them in stock and they are open 7 days a week.
    Usually cheap too! lol

Be careful buying cheap batteries, they do not like the impact of surf riding, stay away from dynabolt, they are a motorcycle battery that last about 2 surf rides.

James - we are sorry. It was a genuine fuck up. Got off the phone after talking to you and had to answer another call which was for an urgent call out to save a ski.... an promptly forgot about the battery. We try our hardest for all our customers and are working our arses off to grow our shop, get good stock and help grow the sport of jet skiing. Our biggest apology for ruining your day. :(
  13. Shit happens I guess. I did like the shop, looks like you got some good stuff in there and a good layout. Just the battery thing that pissed me off.
