Earth cables need to be checked now and again

look for a break in the earth cable at any bends ( under the convalooting ) or damaged terminals, crimps coming loose that sort of thing. after trying to start your ski check if theres heat in your battery cables heat can b a sign of a high resistance. it could be an idea to also check ur engine turns over by hand 2 check ur motor not seize, you could also check that the starter bendix is not seized
hope 1 of these ideas help

Could also be the positive lead to the starter motor or solenoid. Is it making a ticking noise?
