SJ ride plate for the surf

What are peoples opinion on a dominator ride plate vs a standard vs a D cut?

I have a dominator but have yet to try it in the surf. It is any good or should I replace it with my standard one? Ive only ever used a standard plate and it seamed to do the trick...

Throw the dominator in the bin, use a stock plate if your cheap, a sox plate if you can find one or an RP plate if you want the best

I've got a Sox plate if you want to try it Steve

Cut a D in your stock plate. You'd be surprised how well it works.
