Got me a blowsion alloy shoe to replace my broken OEM b1 plastic fantastic.
Anyways just as the internet said, fitment blows.

How do you ensure its all straight, I was just thinking make it even and flush with bottom of thethe hull
The pre punched holes dont even line up, guessing its a superjet/blaster difference.
Supposedly this deeper design benefits a blaster, will see!

yeah some of the alloy ones are a pretty poor fit, they require a fair amount of grinding and filing around the whole edge just to fit it in nicely

    The blowsion ones suck.

The best fitment Ive seen so far are the jet dynamics ones, but even then they still require some massaging to be a nice fit.

Interesting how they promote them ::::

Redesigned and incredible easy fit. Replace that easily broken OEM plastic intake duct with this unbreakable aluminum replacement. Fits all years SJ, Blaster and Polaris Octane.

I would've got an xrtech one, but thought I'd save freight combining the rest of my order.

weve tried a couple of different ones and none of them fit without a bit of help even made a jig so holes got drilled in the right places

Should I just epoxy up my old holes and drill fresh ones? Shit of a thing, hope to never replace it again!
What would you guys use as adhesive, 5200?

get some one to drop a couple of puddle welds in the holes you have already drilled and start agian
    you really need a template
use masking tape tp hold a piece of photocopy paper over where it screws on and rub where the holes are and use this as a template to drill your holes in the right place it takes a bit of patience but saves drilling holes in the wrong place

Oh well have this dry mounted, bar the screws. Wasn't too bad to do. I've probably ground out excess material in the end, that'll fill!

Got my motor back from rebuilders too, woop!
