Wheres the best pace to buy bearings and seals for a jetunit? I dont think the bearings have anything wrong with them as the unit seems to have been rebuilt quite recently but probly wouldnt hurt to do the seals. 1100 raider jetunit if it makes any difference
only use genuine seals in them. The bearings are not so important if they are fitted carefully. Some people say only use C3 clearance sealed bearings others just use standard without any problems.
Oh joy genuine parts, another waste of time trip to Rollos Marine (Lat time it took 3 guys to find a 701 gasket and tell me they dont have one in stock) I removed the bearings with a big hammer so assume they will be fine 8) Do Terry or Roger sell the pump seals? if you guys are reading this
I use this site to find the part numbers. then just get them to get the seals in http://www.yamahasportsplaza.com/
you can get the bearings and seals from saeco or a similar bearing place locally. Aftermarket seals have been fine in all our skis so far. Just take the old ones in and they can match it all up.
To be honest the verdict from everyone is that this jetunit that im building wont even work, so its not really a matter of life n death with 2nd hand bearings or non genuine seals. If theres no real price difference then ill deffinately go genuine.
