impeller removal

    hey guys,trying to remove to replace my "yamaha 16.5' impeller but no way can i shift it.
    anybody help?
    im in albany.

    im happy to buy a spline tool,feels super tight tho.

    remember its a left hand thread and its not uncommon to have to heat the prop up a bit to get it off. Proper tools and a good vice really help here good luck maybe there's someone in your area?

    Yeah checked I was going righty loosey lefty tighty,gonna get a spline tool and heat the bugger up even more

    chuck it in the vice and get a big arse pipe like a meter long on the end of your spanner, ring spaner prefurably.

    I didnt read the post properly sorry. But yes use the propper tools. I also have some if needed

    Just so you all know i have a proper jig made up for this

    The jig also suports the shaft to prevent bending it
