    Hey all,

Ive got a Wave blaster 2 as have a HEEP of my mates but am looking for somthing diffrent. Most probly a SJ.
I love the WB as its great for river runs, great fun in the surf, easy to take people for rides and is also good for my mates who have never had a go on a ski. They just jump on with a few instructions and there off.

Who here has gone from a sit down to a stand up? Im assuming alot. But what did you all think of the change? Does it take long to get good enough for fun in the surf?

Heres a video a freind made of what sort of riding we do on a river run. Would a SJ handle this kind of thing??

    Thanks for the help.

i would say that poleski's are probably less keen for hitting trees, with the ability to snap poles etc, and also for low speed stuff they dont float as high in the water. i wouldve thought such dirty water wouldnt be doing the cooling system any favours but i guess you guys keep an eye on that while you're riding. just my 10c, im not exactly a wealth of knowledge...

    awesome video tho!!
  3. Pole skis would have no problem doing that sort of thing IMO

Is that just up in Coatsville?

If ya wanting something that is still really user friendly I would suggest keeping the WB and going for an SJ as well.

its pretty easy going from sitdown to standup having done it myself, same rules apply...easy.

looks a bit dodgywhat ya guys are doin, but pretty awsome too!

Video is in Coatesville but its about a once or twice a year flood as its usually a trickle. But yeah not easy on the skis at all. We get a few strange looks from the farmers. Had one try and tell us it was private property haha.

Id love to keep the WB and get a SJ but cant realy justfy having too many toys. Plus I could get a decent one if I sold the WB.
Glad to hear its not a huge change between the two either. I can only assume they cheeper in winter?

I'd say it'd take you a few days practise on some flat water before you can expect to do that sort of riding on an SJ though aye 8)
