Dry pipes do make good power, it tends to be more top-end .....to get more bottom end with a dry pipe people run a water injection set-up (dumps water into the pipe at lower rpm to improve bottom end power)

However dry pipes tend to be alot bigger and mount higher than B-Pipes so they take more of a hammering if you do surf riding etc.
  4. I'd way rather have a dry-pipe than a stock pipe (even for surf riding).

If you want a dry pipe to go then throw some ignition timing at it and it will explode off the bottom
With great throttle response as well

Hmmm, that's one rough roundie, isn't it?

I think I'd want to inspect it before bidding to see how it runs, what it's got and to form a complete opinion of it's overall condition.

You've doubtless read my previous posts on asset-stripping ski's for their goodies and re-selling as stockers. That one is viable around the money he's asking, but I suspect it'll go for a few more $$$ being a roundie.

Best thing to do is inspect, decide what you're prepared to pay and bid.

    Good luck!
