Just getting the 701 motor ready to fit in my other ski, its a twin carb model and i want to remove the chokes and fit a primer system. I have a primer pump thing on the ski already so just needing to know what you need to do to remove the choke butterfly setup and re-run the fuel lines. Also If anyone could tell me where to get see through coloured fule line that would also be great. thanks
unscrew / drill out the screws on the choke butterflys, remove, take clips off shaft and remove. Put the barb fitting and block off fitting into the shaft holes. Run a line from your primer pump, tee it into 2 and run one to each carb.
AJSP for the coloured fuel line, it doesnt last long though. Black nitrile stuff which is similar to stock is way better. You could always use coloured sleeving on it. Theres also a uk website that has coloured water and fuel hose, they do free intl shipping. Freeride something i think??? Could be cheaper than ajsp.
Cheers guys, Ive txt terry about the fuel fittings so hopefully I hear back as id like to get the ski on the water tomorrow. Im not really worried about the fuel line, was just one of those ideas that if it was cheap and easy to get id dress it up abit
