Not to sure how long this sight has been going for but must be around three years. It has brought a good bunch of guys and girls togeather with a common interest of surf riding. Thanks to Knoxi and co. I believe this deserves a celibration drink some time in the near future. The weather is crap so we may as well have a an ale or two some were. Your most welcome Gluestick.

  6. Sounds good Flan - I'm still out from riding for another month anyway so any excuse for a cheeky beverage is good.

I was chatting to a few on here the other day about this and we sorta came up with an idea...

In a few months( september/october) book into a camp ground/cabins somewhere on the saturday and ride the arvo then have a bbq and get animal on the saturday night and ride sunday if able lol.

How does Pauanui sound for a spot to hold it?...Should be able to get cabins cheap in off session and if surfs not to good not far to Whanga?

Or maybe the camp ground up Mangawhai or down here in Tauranga

Have a think about it and post any ideas etc.

    Thanks

I talked to the owner of the Glade holiday park about this and he is keen for us to stay.
I said it would be early november 6-7th? if that suits everyone?

He has cabins that sleep 4 at $25 per person and also has motel units that are $45 per person.
The cabins you will need to bring your own sleeping bag but the motel units are made up.

I told him the plan would be we arrive saturday lunch time ish and ride the waves then head back to the camp ground have a BBQ and get on the PISS...Then ride sunday if the head allows lol.He had no problem with that at all as its the off session and the camp will be pretty empty.

    Who would be keen?
