Can any one tell me What a Polaris Octane is like??

I was just wanting to know if any one has had a Polaris Octane and what they are like and reliable??anything else would be great??

Or just stick with a super jet??

I believe the octane came with a b-pipe and mag pump from factory and the one I rode had plenty of grunt, it just turned like an Asian on queen street....

but, parts are an issue everywhere, I would think near on impossible to find in NZ.....

rickster right,it comes standard with,mag pump,b-pipe,filters,aftermarket steering alloy pole....they are very quick and i find them easy to ride,my mate has one,like everyone said its parts,very expenisve,my mate got his one in 2003 brand new,he only had one problem,from memory the part had to be geniune and it cost 900 cant remember what it was thoe,the hull is very stable and planes awsume,just from parts point of veiw,id stick with a superjet

octanes are awesome skis! we (gp engineering) are a polaris watercraft dealer in nelson. we can supply octane parts.

Fine if you wanna ride flat water in a straight line but turn like shit and are heavy.
