let me ride it again in the surf.....or maybe try pull the trim on during your set up for better size wave/wake,pull bars hard into chest and extend legs out off wave to start rotation. looking good bud!
Haha, Nice comment ^ Have you looked into the american or auz forums? They may be better help because there actually doing it. Its looking good tho dude, Will be choice to see it in person when you nail it. Keep it up
Yo try a get hold of john (wire) cooke on ozfreeride krissy and i watched him tryin his first backflips a couple of years ago on the goldie
Cheers fellas...it helps by watching video of it so you can see what you doing wrong...gonna try arching & extending next time...hope it works...tired of landing on my f@^%ing head all the time....
yeah not so much into the flat water but looks like a bit more aggro would help lol great effort and that would be perfect in small surf maybe even a boat wake keep it up
I agree with norm your setup wake looks too small. Im no flatwater guy but if its anything like a small surf tecnique maybe you should come up slower and really sink the front of the ski deep into the wave before hucking it. Your motor needs to be snappy as a mother right off the bottom. Make another video after you try again!
You could have had it off that wake just probably not plate to plate, but crouch into the wake then extend fully as you roll of it while throwing your head back arch your back as much as possible and pull the bars into your chest, once youve got it dialled you should be able to hit it a little quicker and get some more hieght. Did you end up getting a pump?
Hey Josh. Just got 12 vein 144mm pump with solas 12/18, feels O.K but want to bore out exit nozzle & make a smaller cone. If you look at the vid, the hight & power should be enough, just got to work on the technique. Like you say....crouch...pull....extend....arch....pull arms to chest.... sounds easy doesn't it....yea right...include a set up wake, timing etc. I recon it's a case of just practice... OH WELL...watch this space....
