b pipe screws

    scored a b pipe and giving it a clean up and it has rusty steel bolts in the adjusting holes....fuck! got one out and snapped two off flush even after heating the shit outer them.any suggestions from here before i wreck anything else?

    if they are steel, i'd drill 'em, then tap and helicoil the holes before re fitting new screws. Once helicoiled, no further problems. If you got the top one out, and the other two are still in there and blocked off or even the bottom one flowing a little bit,(test it on the garden hose) i'd just repair the top one. Others may run different tuning of course, but some in the top [3/8] and a little in the bottom [1/8] seems kinda common.

    Could try an extractor. They work great but May be costly if you cant borrow one. As said above the next step is to drill it out and heil coil it
