Well this is the first time I didn't break it doing a jump (kind of)...

At some stage of the day one of the messy barrel rolls made the tank jump out of its strap on the battery side, and it took the whole negative terminal with it.. Stopped the ski to talk to Brendan - he took off again - and it wouldn't start again.. That was fine until I got flipped over by a big dumper. The whitewash was pretty powerful and I totally lost the ski. When I swam over to it the damage was done.
Could have been worse tho, at one point I ended up with the tow rope around my neck and between 2 skis (don't know how) and since the battery terminal was gone my bilge pump no longer worked - ski was about 2/3rds full by the time we got it in...

Moral of the story : Point your battery leads as far away from the tank as possible

  5. As said above - was a good day, head count was about 8ish at the port, L. As Lucas ironed out a fuel prob on his sparkling new S.J - nice , the Capt broke his already cracked to bits pole bracket & took a massive chunk out of his scoop grate ??, Tofa poked around in his & others engine bays, big air Rumble added yet another pole to his list of broken poles & i found a hairline crack in my pole bracket - Bugga
