Whangamata

Whangamata is an East coast surf beach on the coromandal penisula.

Access to the water can be from the boat ramp in the habour.

There is flat water riding in the habour and you can continue up the habour mouth. There is a Ski lane area where youre not restricted to 5 knots.

For surf riding there is the beach, Whangamata beach has a pretty good bar at the habour entrance.

There are also hidden spots around this area.
