Pauanui / Tairua

Pauanui is an East coast surf beach on the coromandal penisula.

Access to the water can be from either the pauanui boat ramp or from the boat ramps from the Tairua side of the habour.

There is flat water riding in the habour and you can continue up the river. There is a Ski lane area where youre not restricted to 5 knots.

For surf riding there is both Tairua Beach & Pauanui beach, Pauanui beach has a pretty good bar at the habour entrance.
