The handling difference between the 96-07 and the 2008+ super jet hull is quite a lot. if the ski is for the surf i would recommend a 96 to 07 hull but thats not to say you can't ride a later model hull in the waves with a few mods to the steering. Im my opinion the earlier hull is great fun because you can slide them around more and they're more forgiving.. The majority of aftermarket hulls have the similar feel. As for your potential buy.. Not sure why that hull would have a old single carb engine in it?? i would be asking for the twin carb engine fitted back in it and have some one you trust check it over for the other mechanical (jet pump) and electrical bits are from the same year.. I saw that ski a while back on trademe, he was selling just the hull because he said he was using the engine for a new project. Unsure if it is the same guy or not or someone bought it, chucked a old single carb 701 in it to re-sell but that is definitely not original engine for a 2010 superjet.
