Hey guys! we had a good turn out for the ride today!!! Pity the weather wasnt that great and made for choppy conditions and was freezing cold! There was some decent size swells coming through but was pretty messy.... We had 2 riders, Chris & Chris come up from Tauranga...good to meet them, sounds like they have some mint ride places near them, will have to get there sometime!! Then there was about another dozen of us from auckland, Good to meet all you new guys!!! Hopefully next time the conditions will be better!!!!
Looks like it was a cold day, but a big turnout for the first ride since the site has been up. No doubt they will keep getting bigger!
Yeah it was very cold, but it was a cool day. It was a shame that there were 22 knot south easterly winds.... but hey it was still awesome. So dalusion crew where is next ride gonna be?
Hi Guys White sox here' Hope everyone that came along had a good day, Fu#k it was pretty cold but very refreshing! Anyway its good to know that there's pleanty of people out there stupid enough to go out on such an uninviting day, Thats the sort of commitment we need in this country with our unpredictable and often Shitty weather patterns! Rider of the day Definately goes to James on the camo 800sx, The guys at Dalusion were Real impressed with his commitment to nose stabs in shitty conditions' and with only home made foam lifters to hook his feet under! Big Upps! Another dude to note was the guy on the purple blaster doing stabs also! That was totaly Sick dude! Looking forward to seeing an even bigger turnout next time! Capt. hey guys your rite it was bloody cold but great to see so many keen skiers in one place.hopefully next time the waves and the weather plays there part. some of you boys go bloody big so wiil be good to see you go off in better conditions. keep up the good work and see you next time.
To all who made it yesterday, i want to congratulaute you all for the effort and hopefully you have thawed out. There was a few blue faces for awhile there and I was about to call in the Westpac Helicopter. It was overwelming the response and on behalf of the Dalusion team we can assure you that we are motivated to getting this wicked sport the exposure it deserves. Did you guys go out into the surf or did you just play around int he estrey? It would have been so cold down there today.
James, Logan and I hit the surf, it wasn't as cold as Saturday, or as messy, but there was still a bit of chop - prob about 10knot wind (just a few white caps)... Did about 1 tank out there and got tired (and cold) so headed up the creek which was quite flat for a bit of different style riding... Ended the day towing Logan back with a possible cease...
Surf was a little better on sunday, still cold and messy as. Good fun tho. We should make it a weekly thing
yeah im keen on that as long as you guys dont mind an XP racing around. Wait til the surf gets cleaner then i will be up there with you guys jumping some waves.
