He usually looks at swellmap.com I think. marineweather.co.nz site is saying similar with 15-20kt easterlies. Should be good. If the winds are around there then Karioitahi might be the go as the cliffs provide more shelter.

It's 3-5ft, clean, offshore, and a 16sec period. Bring two tanks.

Good ride today. Was a tad cold though - wind chill had to be sub zero. Good company too.
