Yeah ha , It's what's been missing from jet skiing ... The sound of a rotor at full rpm. Looking for sponsors to raise the funds starting now.

Any ideas on how it would cope with being filled with water?

Aparently Rick Roy is involved in the hull design. Very cool idea as 2 strokes are slowly getting banned from alot of lakes in the USA.

Aparently the engines are pretty ideal. Some disccusion of the motor/wasserjet in this thread:

They say it can not water lock

Depending on the port overlap (the reason rotarys make the pulse noise) it wouldnt be able to waterlock if flooded.
Would be awesome, ive had a shitload of rotary powered cars and often thought about building a single rotor (half 13b) sitdown jetski engine.

It was Avanue Autoport who built the single rotor mower. Motors out of it now and the mower bodys just sitting at their shop
