hrmmm...im not sure actually, maybe if someone else knows if squarenose / roundnose steering plates are interchangeable they can post up?
on the stock plate the bolt is fixed to it, so there is no movement between the bolt and the plate. I'm not saying your design is lacking but wondering what will stop the bolt from flogging out in the alloy turn plate. what ones have you got left?
yea thats kinda how these work the bolt and plate generally move together (like how stock one works)....you could glue the bolt into plate if thats a concern... i know there a better ways of doin this pivot ...but this is the cheapest way and seems to be effective...
