At this stage the report is looking really good for the entire weekend. Some people are involved with NZs first Freestyle show supporting Adrian from Tauranga on Sat and Sunday so was thinking Monday would be a good day to get together for a ride on the West Coast. Plus it should be slightly better weather by then as well.

Post up if you're keen for ride Monday (probably late morning). Bring a couple of tanks and we'll either hit the Port or Karioitahi (where the FoF was).

Could be down for a Monday ride. Was thinking of going to the hobbs wharf event for at least one day to watch (wouldnt mind riding Matakana but it looks like the surf will suck at this point).

Will confirm tomorrow evening (or maybe early monday morning) that its all on, but the plan at this stage is to ride. Be at Karioitahi Beach at about 10:30am. High tide is around 12:45pm and will be quite high so park closer to the entrance of the beach were the horse floats park as the tide will come up quite a way. Bring a couple of tanks of gas and any liquid refreshments that you want and we'll make a day of it.

Good first surf ride on the standup. Guess I'll know how much damage I did when I wake up in the morning.

Surf was pretty clean and quite large. Good times. Get some turf on that ski Jack.
