Hooking up a primer kit for a superjet. I thought they were plumbed into the return line but after looking on the net there seems to be a mixture of using the return or the reserve line. Just wondering about the pro’s or con’s to either one?

it really doesn't matter. Some people say that if it is in the return line it pulls the fuel through the whole system so starts better. Mine is in the reserve line and gives me no issues.

I’d go with the reserve line. The reason they don’t go well in the return line is that when you pump from an empty return line you just suck air from the tank directly (and it gets balanced constantly from the tank vent). So you never actually get fuel.

Thanks for the replys. I was a bit impatient and put it in the return
line. Did take a bit of pumping the first time. Seems ok guess i can always swap it if need be.
