Has anyone lost a green flat cooly bag?...Ive ended up with one in the back of the ute

Ps...Who hit the gate on the way out?...Farmer rang me lastnight having a laugh about it.

Yeah well in my defence the chamber has only come off that ski once before, and that was after an hour riding it in the surf, so I am at a loss as to why it kept breaking on a river ride. In the end that wasn't even the cause of my demise - there were 2 large chunks of wood lodged between the impeller and the stator and nowhere to beach it when it happened.

Thanks to everyone for their help rescuing my ski and carting me around - especially Tofa and the Tauranga crew you guys are legends!

Oh - except Norm, you can kiss my arse; I was supposed to be bringing that "mint condition" blaster I bought off you, except one of the few things on it that I hadn't already replaced shit itself the night before the ride.

    ps green bag is mine

pps cheque book is ready for some damage - just like a few of the skis yesterday!

dazza no disrespect but 1 hour in the surf isnt a reliability test but hey you may have been unlucky as yours was the only ski not to get fixed on the go

Well after owning it for 6 months I had to fix the hull, pump duct, ride plate, grate, impeller, long shaft, short shaft, cylinder, pistons, head, engine mount, b-pipe mount, battery, and earth cable among other things - so its not mint yet... but I'm getting there :D

On another note it was lucky I wasn't able to start my engine last night (water in the petrol tank), as I've now pulled it apart and there is sand all through the cases ... OH Joy!
