Have just booked the lodge for Saturday the 15th of June. It is $27 per person. You can pay me on the day. We will meet at the Raglan boat ramp 10-30am on the saturday morning and go from there. Bring bedding, gas and some cash for the world dancing champs at the pub saturday night.

You guys think I'll be warm enough riding with a 3/2mm wetsuit, rash guard, boots and gloves? Haven't been out in the winters here yet. Was thinking of ordering a tour coat, would that be enough for mid june?
I've got an O'neil polypropylene thermal top that I wear under my wetsuit... They are excellent. Never tried a tour coat though.
thats probably what most of us ride with, often with like an extra 2mm top overtop...the water temp isn't the main problem...its probably the wind chill...thats were a tour coat can be handy to break the wind if it blowing a cold southerly
cool, next question.... jet tribe or jet pilot coat? The pilot coat is all neoprene and the tribe coat is neoprene and ballistic nylon (moto jacket style)

Head to the lodge for cocktails and briefing before hitting the bright lights of Raglan for the 2013 world dancing champs. Sunday will probably end up like last year where most of us wake up at the lodge feeling like the poo fairy took a dump in our mouths and head straight for the local cafe for breakfast before another surf session and home. Weather looking okish for saturday and maybe raining sunday but surf is looking big and north east for both days.
