Kai iwi Lakes Camping / Jet ski

    People , We are looking at organising a Camping / Jetski week end @ Kai iwi Lakes over the 15th Friday night and 16th Saturday night of March. For those that have never been it is located just north of Daragaville (Northland) or check out kai-iwi-lakes.co.nz . Great spot with awesome fresh water lakes and a 10min drive over to Omamari Beach ( west coast ) for some Surf riding. This week end is extended to your partners / kids etc as there is plently to do for every one. Cost per night is around $10.00 per person to stay and bookings can be made on (09) 4394757 or lakes@kaipara.govt.nz. If you are keen leave a comment.

    It's what ever you want it to be , just want to include everyone. Past Kai iwi events have known to include an amout of drink / events ........ , the good news is the bloke who runs the camp is a jet skier himself so read between the lines.

    Sounds like a good plan! Always keen to try out new places and fresh water riding will be something different for sure :) Last time it was Queenstown....it was great with the scenery

    Heads up for those that are keen this weekend. We are more than likely staying on the western side of the lake ( promenade point ) or the smaller camp ground of the two. Arriving Friday evening , aiming for a surf ride on saturday morning and back on the lake for afternoon riding / flushing the skis. Same deal for Sunday.
