Seriously wicked day, considering the usual (non-existent) surf in Whitianga I think we were lucky as there was just enough - crazy being out there with jetskis, helecopters, planes and offshore powerboats in all directions! Got some mean footage and photos, Sindy had a decent camera there and a high def video camera - heres a taste, Loose As Lucas slightly upside down... More to come...
the last pic is sweet, there was a shitload of people there, pity the surf wasnt bigger where the people were rather than down the beach a little but still good to show off some rolls and flips for the fans
Yeah, we got heaps of photos. I'll try and find somewhere to post em all online, and if anyone wants originals I can arrange it somehow. There is 20 mins of high definition video also, but Sindy's PC ran out of space so we couldn't transfer it off her camera. Will try and get that onto youtube at some time. Theres some nice barrel rolls and someone doing a back flip too. Might be a couple of weeks before we can do anything with the video though.
Epic weekend!!! jetsking looked sick from the beach, was a real good show for the crowd!! and what a crowd there was..... animal times at the fiti pad and pub after to, alot of alcohol consumption, cutting of shapes and even a angry midget fight!!
Photos Yer what a great day! I could hear the ooh and arrrr's out in the surf when the boys and girls were busting rolls and backflips. Some great photos there as well!
I've just started looking to buy a ski this winter for next summer thanks to watching you guys at Whitianga. Was down there with the Offshore crew, was a great show.
