That was the best weekend skiing I've had in years. Fucking fantastic. I'm briused to hell, physically beyond repair probably, hulls taking a beating, bent my ally pole, but no regrets that's for sure!! Everyone was on fine form and everyone stepped up their game. SteveKB - fark I remember one of your flips looking from the beach - HUGE. Sickboi with an underflip soon after. Holy shit. And then Keasty busting out the flips. I even remember B-Rad Lemon caning up the face of this massive freak wave that looked at least double to triple overhead height. I thought he was going to smash out a flip. Awesome stuff. Thanks to Tofa for the hospitality. Thanks to T-Bear for the ride in the tractor there and back. Was a good laugh. Good on everyone for turning up and if you didn't, well, sux to be you cause you missed out on a cracker!! I think with the way people are pushing their own limits to do more and at the rate everyone is progressing their skills, we will be putting on the first New Zealand Freeride competition within a year. There I said it and I'll put my hand up to organise it.

Yeah, EPIC weekend. Might have to take note from sickboi and hold off on the vodka next time, I've only just got over the hangover now! Got some awesome bruises coming through and there is a big crack in the nose of my hull, but can't wait to get back out there and do it all again.
