    hey just a heads up on ski regestration

    We went for a thrash at orewa today (me and Krissy ) and had the council turn up
    now daves a nice guy but in general the auck council are a bunch of wankers

    No parking on beach as the new council have placed a traffic warden in orewa revenue collecting i suppose
    Registration of skis is a big thing (also new council again) instant fine will be issued for non registration of skis
    its $35 to register your ski and this is a one of fee no longer do you have to do it every year
    I registerd ours today so you have been warned
    Mangawhai will probably be the same

    I dont have a problem with ski rego but if there going to issue parking fines on the beach then they need to give us somewhere to park...

    last i checked a beach was considered a public road, and therefore you need a WOF & Rego to drive / park there. never heard of any parking rules for on the beach though...

    maybe a bylaw?

    its a auckland city council thing by the sounds of it dave the harbour master for our area now has to report to the arc guy
    if theres signs at the ramps saying no parking on the beach your not allowed to
    be interesting in the summer when we start taking up all the car parks
