My Girlfriend wants a ski and she reckons a Blaster will do the truck for now. Looking at this on trademe http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 891724.htm anyone know anything about it? seems pretty good but the major problem would be the logistics of getting it up here! what the difference between a blaster 1 & 2 other than the 2 having a 760? is it alot bigger ski and still sweet for the surf? Lastly, does anyone have a blaster for sale (dont need a trailer)?
Hi. I have a blaster 1 and love it. The one you are looking at on trade me seems a good bye. If it has what he says then I would bye it. The 96 blaster has a 62t crank case and is alot better than the older single carb 61x. Twin carb blasters are hard to come by. They are great in the surf. Some times can be hard to get back on if there is water in them. But way better than a blaster 2. Engine parts for a blaster 1 are easy to get as the are the same as super jet. If I was to bye it I would check the splines on the sharfts as if not allinged correctly they do flog out. My 2 cents worth
It's a clean ski. Brett is a good guy and look's after his ski. I've had dealing's with him over the year's. Try bascik transport for freighting.

hey, yeah it was me who brought it, just been to pick it up. mint ski took it out on the lake before. going to be a freshwater ski for a while now with the odd trip down south.
