Hey Arron..Sounds like fuel starvation, have you checked your vacumn pipes for cracks/leaks/etc. Check pump disk's/diaphram's. (also fuel lines/primer sucking air)

does it bog when you give it full throttle or when you hold it on full throttle for a run

it bogs when u pull the throttle to full ,it will run fine at half throttle and will increase to full speed but cant gun it ,hope that helps its hard to explan :? i was thinking maybe redo the carbs

Pull the plugs out and have a look at them. Could also be shit in your carbs.

na it just trys to stall ,pulled sparks out and they looked good ,when i put it back on the trailer i gave it full throttle and it stalled straight away

if it dies like its stalling its a lean hesitation

hey, I know this is an old thread... but how did u get on with this?

Mine has just started doing the same thing

    Replaced sparkplugs,
    checked compression - 155psi both
Checked vacuum pipe and fuel lines, all good.
    Still does it.

Today will replace fuel filter, drain fuel and clean tank etc...

Am putting off taking the Carbs off to inspect diaphrams etc because, to be honest, don't wanna f*ck anything up by doing it wrong..

What was causing yours to do it in the end?

    Cheers

I had same problem a while back... took a long time to get to the bottom of the problem... tried many things... but turned out to be crap in the carbs... don't be put off by taking them apart to inspect... take your time, take photos if need be...
