Just add a factory B pipe and an MSD enhanser and you will have tons of power.

generally the 1st thing to do is a pipe (most use the factory pipe 'B'pipe for freestyle).....that is the biggest bang for your buck.

next would be a ignition, MSD enhancer , ATP epic etc.

then maybe raise compression a little ....aftermarked head , or skim ya stock one.

those are things you will need if your going to do a big bore anyway.....

Don't even bother with a non-stroked big bore, a well running limited setup will be just as good in the surf.

Hell, we spend half our time off the throttle just blipping around!

Now if you are into flat water, break out the check book and hit DASA up...

Change the following and you will be sweet!

    - Prop
    - Compression
    - Ignition
    - B-pipe

There is about $2K in mods right there, so get back to work and start saving those coins..

    Yea what he said...

Maybe what you need to do 50cal is come on a ride and see a few setups of our skis and see what suits you.

If you got 5k to spend get on the phone to Craig at AJSP and get the following
    Factory B pipe
    Msd or epic ingintion
    ada girdle head
v force 2 reeds or boysen rad valve reeds
    hooker 9/16 impeller
works 205 or 201 intake grate
    umi steering
    straight bars
    pole saver rope
500gph bilge pump or scupper valve
and send your ski to whale for foot holds and new turf

After that you will have a good reliable/powerfull ski that will be killer on surf and flat
